Turn a video or a set of images into an animation strip for your game. Everything runs on your computer: nothing is uploaded.
Scrub the video to where the loop starts and press "Mark start"; then to where it ends and press "Mark end".
You can also click the background in the "Original" view to pick its color.
"Match height" fixes videos where the character grows or shrinks. Do not use it if the character crouches or jumps.
The PNG is a horizontal strip of square frames on a transparent background. In Godot, add it to an AnimatedSprite2D with "Add frames from sprite sheet", or use a Sprite2D with Hframes set to the number of frames.
In Matte, white is kept and black is removed, like a matte in a video editor. If a white blotch is left in the background or a black hole in the character, paint over it with the brush.
The swatches above are the colors this frame already has: use them to stay on palette. "Copy from previous frame" paints with whatever was at that same spot one frame earlier. Do touch-ups last: if you change the size or centering afterwards, the edits stay where they were.
